Get a strip of paper like this, if its too short it won't work
Measure 60 degrease or eye ball it and make a fold there
Fold the rest of the strip back so that it makes an equilateral triangle
Like this
Continue folding triangles
Make the creases hard
Fold at least 9 full triangles ( the first half one doesn't count) 10 if you're using glue instead of tape
If you've run out of paper before you you reach nine or 10 then your strip of paper was too short or too fat, either cut a new one, or unfold it and cut it thinner
If you did it correctly then they should look like a spring
Unfold it all
Cut off the end bits that don't make a full triangle
This has 10 triangles and I've coloured the last triangle black, so if you are using tape and don't need the last triangle, u can just ignore it
Turn it so that the triangle ends are both pointing down (ignoring the black one )
On the third crease from the right ( the black line)
Fold forward
Like this
Now, from the 3rd cease from the right , the line (again ignoring the black triangle)
Fold back
It should look like this now
Turn it around
If u r using tape skip to step 31
If you are using glue, then put glue on the black triangle
Stick it down on top of the triangle under it
Done
If you are using tape them put tape on the edge
Fold it over
And stick it down
Done
