Preheat of oven to 375 degrees. With an electric mixer, beat almond butter, sugar and softened butter.
When mixture is smooth, add egg and beat again
Add the whole wheat flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract and almond extract then beat again.
Form cookie dough into balls using roughly 1 tablespoon of batter per cookie. Space evenly apart.
Push almonds into top of cookies. Place in oven and bake 8-9 minutes.

- 1.0c Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2Tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/8tsp Salt
- 1/2tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1/4c Sliced Almonds
