How to make aaloo matar ki sabzi
This is a very easy Indian potato dish recipe. it takes about half an hour to cook this dish.

Ingredients: salt, sugar, tomatoes, cilantro, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder, canola oil/ghee, paprika, Kashmiri/garam masala, frozen peas and carrots
Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker (5 whistles)
You can also microwave the potatoes for 5minutes instead
Boil tomatoes in a vessel
Peel and cut potatoes into cubes once they are medium soft
When the top layer of the tomatoes starts peeling off turn gas off and peel the top layer
Put all tomatoes and minced ginger in the grinder
Purée the tomatoes
In a cooking vessel add oil, once oil is hot add cumin seeds, paprika, coriander-cumin powder, Kashmiri masala, turmeric powder
Let all the masala's (spices) cook for 2 mins, then add puréed tomato and ginger paste and all of it cook for a few minutes
Add frozen peas carrots and potatoes to the gravy, keep mixing, add salt to taste and a pinch if sugar
If u want a little thingy taste to your gravy you can add a little lime juice as well
Garnish with minced cilantro and serve
- 5.0 Medium size potato
- 3.0 Tomato
- 1/2pch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1.0tsp Kashmiri masala or garam masala (not necessary)
- 1/2tsp Paprika
- 1/2tsp Salt to taste
- Pinch of sugar
- 1/2tsp Cumin and coriander powder
- 1/2tsp Minced Ginger
- Frozen peas and carrots
- Canola oil
