How to make a waterfall braid

Start a French braid on one side of the head. When your braid gets past the ear, only braid in half of the bottom section of braid, letting the other half of that section fall back down.

So it's a regular French braid, except that every time you fold in that bottom piece, you leave half of it behind. Make sense?

When you get to the other ear, add a hair tie.
