Choose a selection of vegetables to make your soup.
Collect the equipment you need. 🍵🍵🍵
Place two table spoon if oil into a saucepan.
Peel and chop the onions...
Place the chopped onions in the saucepan...
Peel and dice the potatoes.
Place the diced potatoes in the saucepan...
Gently cook the onions and the potatoes for 5 minutes
Peel and dice the carrots.
Place the chopped carrots in the saucepan.
Cut the sweet potatoes.
Put the chopped and diced sweet potatoes in the sauce pan.
Boil 500ml of water.
Crumble stock cube into the measuring jug.
Pour boiling water into measuring jug to 500 ml.
Pour stock into the vegetables in the saucepan.
Bring mixture to the boil. Add your own vegetables often chopped🍆 ( never put your wooden spoon in the pan ) Clean your work surface while your waiting for your soup to get ready.
Bring the mixture to the boil. And simmer gently for 15 mins.
Add halve a tea spoon of salt.
Add a large pinch of black pepper.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Test the potatoes to show when they are soft.
In the last 5 mins add any vegetables that have a short cooking time.
Finely chop the fresh herbs. And addd to the saucepan before serving.
