Easy peezy versatile sauce with kick ass flavor for my garlic lovers, and it has the nerve to be vegan!

Note: if you want a very creamy sauce, soak your cashews over night, dump the water, then use a fresh cup of h2o. I soaked mine for 20 minutes. Not as creamy - still fab.

Here is the pizza I used the sauce for.  Have plenty left over for spaghetti, Alfredo, linguini, ravioli, as a bread or chip dip, over eggs, in casseroles, whatever! Get funky with it!

  • Half a head of garlic
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • Half of a jalapeño with seeds
  • 1/4 of a shallot
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: a little tomato for color
