This is a standard dish that contains a 1/3 brick of oasis. The standard dish influences the arrangements shape.
This is the 1/3 brick of oasis in a standard dish. As seen in this picture, all the sides are beveled which gives the oasis more surface area. To secure oasis, you must press the oasis with whole hand
This is the brick of oasis in the standard dish. As seen in the picture, there is a piece of anchor tape going diagonally across the oasis. The anchor tape supports the oasis to the dish.
Next you add two pieces of leather leaf (back to back). Both pieces should be coming out of the back beveled edge. Wipe off stems to extend arrangements life. Both pieces should be same size.
Then you add three pieces of leather leaf coming out of all sides except for the back. Insert leather leaf just below beveled edges. As said before, wipe off the stems.
Next you take more leather leaf and fill in negative space (besides back). Make it look like all the leather leaf is coming from center. By doing this, you'll achieve rhythm through radiation.
Then you take larkspur and have it stick out of the top, sides, and the front. You can take more larkspur and use it fill in.
Next you take standard carnations and place them in order of tall, medium, and short.
Then you start filling in negative space with more standard carnations, mums, and gyp also known as baby's breath. This makes the arrangement look full.
This is the finished triangle arrangement. Have at most three colors between carnations, mums, and fillers. The goal of this arrangement is to achieve proportion and have it look like a triangle.
