Instead of ground beef, I used mushroom this time. Sautée all finely chopped mushrooms, garlic and red bell pepper with olive oil for about 2-3 minutes.
This is the sauce I usually use. You could find this at any Korean/Asian market. I picked medium hot this time.
Pour in the Mabo Tofu sauce and stir and heat it for just 1-2minutes more.
Then add the tofu (use the soft tofu rather than hard-it tastes better! ) and the green scallion. Be sure to prepare the tofu all chopped in cubes. You could adjust the size of the cubes as you wish.
I want it to be just a bit spicy so I will add some Korean red pepper powder.
After adding the red pepper powder, heat it for about 4-5 minutes in medium high heat
Let's not forget to add the sesame seed to our final dish! :)
Yum!! It's all done and ready to eat !
