Gather your supplies.
Water your sphagnum moss.
I used a flattened metal tray for the bottom so that water will not run out too quickly.
Pack the moss around the bottom of the birdcage.
I left the center open...
To fill with soil.
Add small plants that will trail down as it grows along the outer edge.
I used a kiwi aeonium as the focal point at the door of the birdcage.
Plant your larger succulents first.
Follow with the smaller cuttings and fill gaps with moss.
Close the lid.
Hang and enjoy.
