How to make a succulent dish garden
This design was inspired by Monet's Water Lilies. I first saw it in Succulent Container Gardens by Debra Lee Baldwin. It was designed by the California Cactus Center.

STEPS
TOOLS
Drill a hole for drainage.
Add the Cacti Potting Mix.
Gather your succulents.
Plant your lily pad Aeonium.
I had a large Echeveria so I planted it next.
I then planted some Echeveria cuttings to fill out the dish garden.
You could stop here and put a layer of beach glass.
But I added a few more Hens and Chicks to fill out the dish.
Give it a gentle spray of water to rinse the dirt from the succulents.
Add the beach glass.
Done. 👍
I saved a bit of the beach glass to add to the top dressing as it settles after a few waterings.
