I love these chilled coffee drinks. But they're so expensive for the amount you get. So I decided to try and make some myself. It didn't turn out half bad so I thought I'd share.

I experimented with a variety of recipes I found on line. But I finally settled on this one because it's so simple. It allows me to make small adjustments as I make it.

Just like when making chocolate milk. If it need more syrup I just add more. That how I make this. So I will not be sharing exact measurements here. My likes will be a little different then yours.

So if you give it a try. Adjust to your liking. I still do every time I make it.

I saved a bottle and just pour my ingredients right into the bottle.

Get yourself about a shot glass amount of double strong coffee (double the amount of coffee grounds). I'm sure you could use a couple table spoons of instant coffe if you'd like as well.

Add a couple table spoons of sugar.

Poor in 2% milk until the bottle is about 2/3 full.

I like the mocha flavor so add some chocolate syrup.

Put the lid on the bottle and give it a good shake.

Take a sip. If it needs more chocolate add more chocolate. If it needs more coffee or sugar, add some. Get it to exactly how you like it. This is why I said to only fill 2/3. Room for adjustments.

Make a few of these and you'll soon get a feel for how much you like of each ingredients. If you prefer vanilla instead if mocha, replace syrup with a few drops if vanilla extract. Or why not both?

Enjoy!!!
