How to make a (small) starter house in minecraft

First, you need to lay out 20 cobblestone in a 4 by 5 platform.

Now, stack up your logs 3 high on each corner of the platform.

Then, you need to put the wood planks like this- with a gap in the middle of them. In the front where the building is 4 tiles wide, put a door on the left, on the right of the the logs.

Put the windows in. I use glass panes, because you get more bang for your buck. And, they're more aesthetically pleasing.

Put logs on top of the building like this- leaving out the corners.

Then put 6 logs on top of the previous layer.

To make this more compact, do something like this to the floor. You can make a huge underground basement if you intend to make this a permanent house.

If you do decide to make this your permanent home, you can expand later or add little things like bushes and flowers. I hope you found this guide helpful!
