How to make a ruffled wreath

Fold your fabric lengthwise Cut 2. 15 inch strips of fabric. They will measure 15 by 1 1/3 yards

Ask the cat to move

From the leftover piece cut a 10 inch by 36 inch piece

Sew your s15 inch strips together on the short side

Fold your long strip in half right sides together. Sew along the long edge. 1/2 inch seam alliwance. Leave the ends open

Turn the tube right side out and press

Attach your seam guide so it is 1 and 1/4 inches from the needle

See 1 1/4 inches from the seam

Measure 2 and 3/4 inches from the line if stitching. Sew

Sew the lace to the fold edge of your tube

Use a aerated knife and slice your wreath

It will look like this

Feed the tube slowly and carefully on to the wreath

Tape the styrofoam wreath together

Ask the cat to move again

Arrange the gathers around the wreath

Fold your 10 inch strip in half right sides together. See down the long edge

Turn it inside out and press

Turn in the short edges to hem

Tie a bow.

Attach it to the wreath. You can tack it by hand stitching or use pins into the styrofoam. That's it
