STEPS
INGREDIENTS
To start, you'll need to make what we called our Rosemary-Basil Infused Simple Syrup.
Boil water, sugar, rosemary, and basil in a saucepan. Then turn to low heat and let simmer for ten minutes.
Strain syrup and cool before using. This simple syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for later use.
Add the juice of half a lemon and 1/4 cup of the Rosemary-Basil Infused Simple Syrup in a glass.
Add 1 to 2 ounces of gin, preferably the best quality you can afford. (We love Hendrick's.) This drink can also be made without alcohol. Just add a bit more club soda in the next step.
Top with club soda.
Let it fizz! Garnish with some rosemary if you like. Then sip to your heart's content.
