Cut along both lines

Open paper out and place straight edge on fold of main fabric. Repeat on batting

Cut an opening from outer circle to neck in main piece and batting

Sew segments together in an alternating pattern and press seams open

Layer and pin batting and main fabric pieces. Pin and sew lace around outer edge as close the edge as you can

Turn lace back on itself to finish at the ends

Lay the segmented piece on top of lace trimmed back and pin in place . Sew all around from batting side leaving a 6 inch gap in one of the opening sides. Make sure the lace is tucked in

Trim excess and make notches in neck before turning right side out through the 6 inch gap
