How to make a rainbow loom breast cancer awareness charm

This is the charm that I will be showing you how to make today

Gather your supplies, Rainbow Loom, hook and 47 pink rubber bands. If you would like to do a different awareness ribbon please feel free. All the steps are the same.

This is the pattern that I will be following today. We will be doubling (using two) rubber bands for this charm.

With the loom in the staggered position place two bands from the center to the left and center to the right.

Starting on the left side we are going to go up the loom four times.

We will do the same thing on the right side.

Going from the left take two rubber bands and go towards the center. So the same thing from the right.

Take two more and go from the center to the left and then center to the right.

Start on the left and place two rubber bands.

Follow down the line and place 3 more sets of rubber bands.

Do the same thing on the right side.

Now we are going to place the two capping bands. Wrap a rubber and around the last peg 3 times.

This is what it looks like from the side.

Do the same on the left and flip your loom around so the arrow is facing you.

And we are ready to start looming.

Put your hook in the peg. Pull back the capping band and grab the two rubber bands. Move them to the next peg.

You will get a tear drop shape. Continue to do this up the loom.

Grab the two rubber bands on the bottom and being them forward.

This is what it will look like. Do the same thing on the left side.

With both side done it's time to work our way to the center.

You can do either side first it doesn't matter. Grab the bands on the left and move them to the center. Do the same thing on the right side.

This is where it can get a little hard. Reach in the center peg and grab the first two bands on top. Move them to the left. Go back in the center peg and grab the last two bands and go the right.

They should look like this.

Let's start on the right and work our way up to the top of the loom.

Grab the next set of bands and move them to the center of the loom. Let's do the same thing on the left side.

Once all the bands are loomed it's time to close of the charm. Put your hook through the bands. Place your last band on the end of the hook.

Pull the hook back through the bands and place the other end of the rubber band on the hook. Don't let go of the other end of the band as you pull it through.

Take end that is closet to the hook and pull it through the other end. Pull tight. This will create a slip knot and will hold all the bands in place. Now it's time to pull your charm off the loom.

And there you go everyone. You now have a breast cancer awareness charm.
