Gather your essentials
Drizzle some olive oil (or flavoured basil oil like mine) over the pizza crust and spread with the back of a spoon or brush.
Add a 1-2 spoons of pesto sauce on top.
Spread evenly without getting any on the thick crust border.
Disperse finely chopped garlic evenly on the pizza crust.
Spread some mozzarella cheese throughout the crust, keeping it nice and thin. Don't over do it or you'll lose the pesto taste.
Place the thinly sliced tomatoes across entire pizza. You can add some cherry tomatoes like I did if you wish.
Lightly salt the pizza.
And pepper of course.
Wash and chop some fresh basil leaves.
Spread the basil leaves making sure to get some on the tomatoes and on just the cheese itself.
Then add a few more squares of mozzarella cheese. I added some extras but you're welcome to add more or less according to your preference. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
The finished product! Sprinkle a bit of parmesan cheese. Smells incredibly delicious.
Slice accordingly and enjoy warm! Wash it down with a cool glass of iced tea.
