How to make a pumpkin tea set

Grab your supplies.

Pick out two small pumpkins. These will be your tea cups.

On each of the smaller pumpkins, mark a carving line in pencil.

(optional) Trace around the pencil outline with a marker. This will make it easier to see when carving.

Following the outlines, carve the tops off of each of the small pumpkins.

Remove pumpkin tops.

And scoop out the insides. Don't forget to save the seeds for baking!

Get your large pumpkin.

Place your infuser face down over the pumpkin stem so that it's flush with the top of the pumpkin. Then, using a pencil, trace an outline around the infuser (you may need to trim the stem for this).

Trace another line INSIDE of the pencil line. You'll want a smaller hole for the infuser to fit into.

Following the inside line, carve out the top of the pumpkin.

Remove the lid...

...and trim it to fit your infuser.

Scoop out the insides of your pumpkin.

Using the olive oil dispenser, pierce a hole in the pumpkin. This should be about 3/4 up the pumpkin (you can do this by placing your infuser in the pumpkin and lining up the hole near the top of it).

Be sure to place the olive oil dispenser above where the water will reach when steeping your tea, or you'll end up with a leaky teapot!

Remove the olive oil dispenser. Then, using the resulting hole as a guide, slowly carve out a larger hole to fit the olive oil dispenser in it's entirety.

Push the olive oil dispenser into the hole, so that it is fully flush with the pumpkin.

Now you're ready to steep! Put your infuser in the pumpkin.

Grab your favourite pumpkin tea (we used Pumpkin Chai).

Add 3-4 Perfect Teaspoons worth of tea (8-10 tsp).

Pour hot water over the tea and into your pumpkin teapot, filling it up until the tea is fully covered by the water.

Place the lid on top of your teapot...

...and let your tea steep.

When your tea is ready, grab your pumpkin tea cups and serve.

And there you have it! Now just sit back, and enjoy.
