How to make a popsicle chandelier!

Cut the three pieces of thick fabric of the sizes 50cm x 3cm, 45x3 and 27.5x3. Cut them separately. The line doesn't have to be straight because the popsicle sticks will be covering the fabric.

Stick top end of the popsicle sticks, one by one, to the piece of fabric using the hot glue gun. Be careful not to burn your fingers. Leave some space on the end. Use newspapers to avoid mess.

In the same way glue popsicle sticks on the other two pieces of fabric. Each of the three sets will make one segment of the chandelier. The big one will be at the top and the small one at the bottom.

Cut three more pieces of fabric the same size as in step one. Turn each segment over one by one and glue the matching piece of fabric an inch above the bottom end of the popsicle sticks.

Next, for each segment put glue on the space you left at the end of fabric and stick them together to make a rectangular cylinder.

If you don't get a good rectangular shape you can support with popsicle sticks. If you want to support it then take two popsicle sticks and cut a little bit from the middle.

Don't cut to much in width because the popsicle stick will break in half. Join them together with tape and make an X.

Cut the ends of the X which you made with the popsicle sticks if it doesn't fit. Put the X inside the area where the fabric is and glue.

Now paint the segments. Use few colors and a thin brush so it won't look messy. It is also hard to paint one color on top of the other color so be careful. Use newspapers to avoid mess.

Put the top end of the smallest segment inside the middle segment. Take the tape and join them from the inside.

Now put the top end of the middle segment inside the biggest segment. Take the tape and join them from the inside.

Take four pieces of pipe cleaners and join them together at one end as shown. Join the other ends of the pipe cleaners with the four sides of the chandelier's top side using hot glue or string.

Take the small torch and hang it upside down with a string from the top of the pipe cleaners. Tie a string at the top of pipe cleaners to hang the chandelier.

Your chandelier is ready. You can add some decoration if you want.
