Essential Question. How does texture and value relate to each other?
Objective. I will create 3-dimensional texture using a pizza box, paper towels, and glue diluted with water. I will create a monochromatic flower using acrylic paint.
Inspired by O'Keeffe.
Another finished product.
Begin by folding your pizza box. you will draw on the backside of the box.
Draw your image on a pizza box. Make sure that your image goes off all three sides.
Dip your paper towels in solution of 1/2 water and half glue. Then begin building the texture. Use the ridges of the paper towel to create texture and movement.
An example of a portrait.
Begin painting after everything is dry. Will create a monochromatic painting. Start with one color, then brush in your darker value and lighter tones.
