How to make a patchwork drinks mat

Cut four squares out of one piece of material. Do the same for the other chosen piece. You can make two drinks mats with this guide

Pin the sides down ready to sew them so they don't fray. Do this on all the squares.

Remove the pins from one edge of the square and sew along that edge. When you get to the next edge take out the pins and sew, and so on and so on. Repeat this for every square.

Sew two squares of different material together. Do this for every square you have.

Sew the four pieces of material together with a zig-zag stitch. If you have it then a H or G stitch for decoration
