Approximately 1 meter (3 feet) paracord. And a key ring.

Make a loop over the key ring. The length can be as long as your thumb.

The right end goes infront of the loop to the left. And left end goes in front of the right end but comes out to the back of the loop.

Pull both ends firmly tight to form a knot at the key ring.

Make a similar knot but now the left end goes in front of the loop to the right, and the right end goes in front of the left end but comes out at the back of the loop.

A patterned knot is made when you tightly pull the ends of each paracord. This pattern is called the solomon bar.

Follow the steps of 3-6 again making it into a patterned knot.

Knot it until your desired loop hole size.

Snip off the remaining cord with your scissors. Leave some length as we need to seal it with a lighter from coming off.
