Using the one inch punch...punch four holes ad bottom.  Some of the holes you may need to double punch a little off set to make hole a bit bigger...depending on size of child's fingers.

Punch two small holes on each side of spider, which will be for the legs.  I used the pointy edge of a pair of scissors to make these holes.

Cut the pipe cleaner in half and fold up one end of each piece a couple times.  You want to make it 'wide' enough to not slip through the hole you punched.

Stick pipe cleaners through each leg hole, and bend how your'd like.
