STEPS
TOOLS
To begin, cut your construction paper lengthwise into strips about 1 inch in width. You will need about 15 strips total, so 2 sheets of paper yielding 8 each will suffice.
Create a circle with a strip of paper about as big around as an orange.
Tape both the outside and the inside of the circle where the ends of the strip meet to hold them in place.
Wrap two other circles, linking them both to the first (but not directly to each other).
Repeat this process, connecting another circle to each of the two previous circles.
Now, link the last two circles you just made with another strip, running perpendicularly to the circles it is connecting.
Now, connect TWO circles to each of the existing two, so the bottom row has a total of four.
Link the middle two circles by adding a new one below them. Add one circle to the outside circles as well.
Connect the bottom row's outside circles to the inside circles.
The finished product looks like a Christmas tree. Decorate and hang up!
