How to make a paper box with a smart closure

Start with a 12x12" (30x30cm) piece of cardstock

Score on one side at 1.5" and 10.5" (4, 26 cm)

Score on the other side at 0.75", 1.5", 5.25", 6.75", 10.5", 11.25" (2, 4, 13, 17, 26, 28cm)

Fold and burnish well

Cut in these areas and notch in to make a more professional look

Adhere on the small middle tab and on of the large tabs and adhere the same ones one the other side

Notch into the tabs to make the closure fit

Hole punch an area to make it easier to open

Add decorations of choice and voila! It's done.
