How to make a paper book jacket

Get your supplies. For the cover paper, I chose a paper grocery bag.

Open up the bag, then cut off the bottom panel.

This is sort of what it should look like.

Cut the bag from top to bottom, then unfold it.

Place your book on the paper. The book I am covering is a medium sized book, so I will only use half the sheet of paper.

Fold the paper onto the book.

Mark the edges of the book onto paper. There should be a few inches of extra material on all of the edges.

Fold the top and the bottom of the paper down.

Fold the sides over.

Place the front cover in between the fold on top snd the fold in the middle: the small "square" of paper.

Repeat the steps for the back cover.

Write the title of the book on the front, and on the spine.
