Start with a plain sheet of paper

Fold in half lengthwise

Fold down top corners to center line

Fold down about an inch from bottom edge

Fold new top corners to center line

Fold up center flap

Fold over center line so triangle flap shows

Fold down wings

Create an accordion fold for hand placement

Fold out wings to desired width
