How to make a mug cozie

Choose a mug. I got these at the .99 store.

Cut felt to fit around your mug. This was 2x10.

Cut ribbon to size, long enough to tie a nice bow. Glue ribbon to middle of felt, leaving length of ribbon on either end for tying.

Press ribbon down onto felt to secure.

Add flower embellishments if desired. These were attached with tiny brads.

After ribbon has dried completely, put felt around mug & tie a tight bow to secure.

These were a group project.

Makes a nice little gift. (You can also add tea, coffee or hot chocolate packets inside the mug.)
