Materials needed to make the Candleholder

To make the Wax Catcher, measure out a 70mm x 70mm square on the Sheet Metal using a Metal Ruler and Scribe.

Then cut out the Sheet Metal with the Guillotine.

Then to find the centre point of the Sheet Metal, draw two diagonal lines to create a cross with a Metal Ruler and Scribe.

Once you have found the centre point, use the Centre Punch and Ballpein Hammer to make a small indent in the Sheet Metal. This will direct the Drill Bit when drilling the hole.

Then using a Divider, measure a perfect circle.

Then cut out the circle using Tin Snips

Using a File, file the edges of the Wax Catcher. The edges should be smooth and soft to touch.

Then using the Drill Press, drill a hole where you made the small indent with the Centre Punch. This will direct the Drill Bit to drill through the Wax Catcher.

Next, to make the Wax Catcher curved, use a Wooden Mould and Tin Man's Mallet. This will create a perfectly curved Wax Catcher.

Now place your Wax Catcher aside.

Then file the edges of the Flatbar using a File and a Vice. The edges should be smooth and rounded.

Using a Scroll Template, bend the Flatbar to create a scroll

Make sure not to bend too far as then there won't be enough space for the Wax Catcher to sit.

Now place the scroll into the Vice.

Measure out 8cm using a Metal Ruler.Then using a Hack Saw, saw off the Flatbar, but keep both pieces.The 8cm piece will be your feet.Then using the Metal Ruler, Scribe and Centre Punch make an indent.

Then using the Scribe and Metal Ruler, make a cross to find the centre point. Then using the Ballpein Hammer and Centre Punch hit the Centre Punch once.

Then using the Drill Press drill both holes in the scroll and the feet.

Then using the Scribe and Metal Ruler, measure out 1.5cm on both sides. This will help bend the feet.

To bend the feet, use the Vice and Ballpein Hammer to bend the feet. Do this to both sides.

The feet should be even and bent slightly.

Then assemble your Wax Catcher, Feet and Scroll together and use a Pop Rivett to secure it in place.

Then Pop Rivett the pieces together using a Pop Rivett Gun.

You have now finished your Mini Candleholder.
