Gather your supplies.
Also obtain your container to hold the cookie, and something to stir with.
Melt your butter (around 10-15 seconds), and add in the sugar and salt. (Optional: add 1 pinch of cinnamon, cloves, pumpkin spice, and nutmeg for that wam autumn taste.)
Mix well, and incorporate your egg yolk to the mixture.
Stir until smooth, and pour your vanilla extract in.
Lastly, slowly add the flour, and chocolate chips also. The mixture will be tough to mix, so be sure to work slowly and well because you don't want lumps of ingredients unmixed!
How the consistency should be.
Cook in the microwave for 45-55 seconds. Be careful not to over cook, or under cook. (You will know when holes appear on the top, and it has a mild "spongy" feeling to the touch.)
Violá! Garnish will a scoop of ice cream to add moisture and cold, and add a chocolate drizzle for that finalizing look. Enjoy, and be carful not to burn your mouth!
