How to make a mickey mouse charm out of rubber bands

We're going to be working with double bands this whole charm. So you should have 18 rubber band pairs.

We're working with our loom in the staggered configuration. With the arrows pointing towards you.

Starting from the 5th peg up from the bottom, go down your loom placing double black bands 4 times.

This is what it should look like

Do the same thing on the other side.

Now place a caping band on the end closest to you,

Like that.

We were going to start looping. DON'T TURN YOUR LOOM AROUND.

Start from this pegs go under the cap band and loop like regular

It will make the tear drop shape

Loop both sides.

Put your hook inside the last tear drop shape

Pull it off the loom and make sure it's far enough on the hook so it won't fall off and come unlooped.

I just kept mine on my hook

Okay. Starting from the top peg place a diagonal double band to the right

Place a double band down from that diagonal band

Do that 3 times, it should look like this

And go back to the top and place a double diagonal band to the left

Place a double band down from the diagonal band, do that 3 times to match the right side

Go to the bottom of where you placed you bands on the right place a double band diagonal so it hooks in the the middle row.

Do the same on the left and it should end up liking something like this

Now go back to the top and go to the middle row and place double bands down

All the way until you get to the last of your shape that we made

Remember those things we made earlier... Well this is what were gunna do with them!

That's what it should look like

Do the same to the other side.

Put a cap band on that peg

Put a triangle cap band on the second pegs down from the first one

Below that cap band place another one

Time to start looping our Mickey!!!!(:

From the middle peg we're going to start looping up. Just like normal

So it makes that tear drop shape

All the way up

Then loop from the middle the next two bands should be to the left. Loop It up. When you get to the ears, it might be hard to find the bottom band because it's so full.

Once you get done with the left side it should look like this. Do the same thing to the right side.

Put your hook though the top of allllllll the bands.

Hook another rubber band though it.

Make a slip knot

Pull it off your loom and be amazed.
