Begin by carefully tearing about 10 pages out of a magazine. it is okay if the edges are a little frayed.
Take one page and fold it in half. If you want your bowl to be colorful, fold it so the page with more color is on the outside.
Fold the same page in half again.
Fold it in half one final time and then slide it back and forth over the edge of a desk/table to make it bend easier.
Create about 10 strips to start. You will need more, but it is best to do more then one at a time.
Begin rolling one strip into a tight circle.
Tape the edge to keep the circle tight.
Take another strip and tape it to the existing circle. Be sure to overlap where you left off.
Continue wrapping strips, making sure to tape them both at the beginning and end. Make more strips as needed. Your circle need to be at least 3.5" wide.
Gently pull up on the outermost part of the circle. You can create a taller cup or a shorter/wider bowl depending on how you pull it up and how big the circle is.
Once you are happy with the shape and size of your bowl, cover it with 1 - 2 coats of Mod Podge to seal.
