How to make a lucky paper star

Take your paper and tie a knot in it...

...like so. :)

Flatten the edges of the knot

Rip off/fold excess underneath

Begin folding the paper, letting the hexagon's edges guide you.

Keep folding...

Rip off the excess when it seems like it is getting too think.

Tuck excess underneath

Begin pinching the edges...

And you have yourself a paper star :)

You can order lucky star paper online, or you can make your own(I took scrapbook paper and put it through the shredder)

You can also amaze your friends at restaurants by making them out of straw wrappers! ^.^

It may take a while to get it, but keep practicing and find what works for you! :)
