Make cake according to cake box directions
While you wait for the cake to cool COMPLETELY, make your jello mix. This should make 4 cups of jello liquid. Place in the fridge to cool for 3 minutes.
Get a spoon with a rounded handle top
Poke holes in the cake
Take a little over 2 cups of the liquid in a Pyrex or pourable cup.
Pour on top of the cake until...
You completely saturate it.
Take the rest of the jello liquid and put it in a flat bottomed bowl to put in the fridge for decoration later.
Place in the fridge over night for the jello to set like this.
Get your whipped cream ingredients.
Place your mixers and bowl in the freezer for awhile to get them really cold.
Keep your heavy whipping cream in the fridge till last minute.
Mix your heavy cream till it gets to a thicker consistency then add sugar to taste.
Whip until it gets stiff peaks like this
Get out your solidified jello
Do a light crumb coat first so there's no crumbs that come up in your finial coat.
Add the rest of the whipped cream as thick as you want it.
Cut your jello to desired shape and size
Add jello on top of your cake and voila! You have jello cake. Enjoy:)
