STEPS
TOOLS
This is the holder/display that I will be showing you how to make today.
A little closer picture.
Get one piece of plastic canvas. You can find these at any craft store. I got mine at Michaels.
Cut your piece of canvas in half. Doing this lets you make two holders instead of one :D. Trim off any little pieces from where you cut it. 1 will be one square longer than the other. That's ok.
Each holder will measure about 6 1/2 inches. Perfect for bracelets :D
Cut two pieces of elastic cord. Make them 15-24 inches. I like to have extra inches it makes it easier to work with.
Count four squares down and put your elastic cord through the first hole.
Tie a knot in your cord and put the cord back through the first hole.
Count down 4 more squares and put the cord through the hole.
Come up through the next hole and repeat. Count four squares and put the cord through the loop.
Continue weaving the cord through the holes.
Almost done with the row.
Once you get to the end put your cord through the last hole. Turn the canvas around and make to knots to secure the cord.
After you tie your knots cut off the excess cord.
With this kind of holder you will be able to display 14 different bracelets.
Let's do the same thing to the bottom.
Make your knot.
Weave your cord through the holes. If you have thicker style bracelets you can always make bigger holes. That is up to you :D
Tie your knot and cut off the excess.
With the holder finished it time to add some bracelets.
Grab a bracelet.
Slide one end through the hole. Using elastic cord will make this easy.
Grab the other end and do the same thing to the bottom.
I like to color coordinate so I put a few more pure bracelets on this display.
Here are two other holders I have made.
I hope you all have enjoyed this guide and found it as fun to make as I have :D
