Gather your supplies: embroidery thread, a felt scrap and a bobby pin.

Pretend you're Edward Scissorhands and cut out a bat shape from a piece of felt that is folded in half. You should end up with two bats.

Use some yellow embroidery thread and sew a couple of eyes onto one of the bats.

Use black embroidery thread to sew around the edges of the two bats so that they are sewn together. Cut a small slit {about 1/4 inch} in the back of the bat and insert the bobby pin. That's it!
