STEPS
TOOLS
Gather your supplies. I started with my journal out, my stamps, my Gelatos and a piece of spiderweb paper.
I scribbled my yellow Gelato on my pages and blended them with a paintbrush and water. This is my background. I like how the scribbling makes different levels of color when mixed with water.
I wanted to make this tree stamp from SinCity Stamps look like a bigger tree so I did some "Second Generation" stamping. This is when you stamp your image on scrap paper first, then your journal.
See how there is a lighter look of branches behind the actual tree? That is the Second Generation stamping. It makes the tree look much bigger than the size of the stamp. Awesome!!
I used this spiderweb paper a stencil. I didn't want it behind my tree so I left some areas out. I used black ink and I pounced it through the paper/stencil.
Looking awesome!! The yellow color is so nice and shaded looking and the faint spiderweb design adds the right amount of interest to the background.
I used black ink with this fence stamp from SinCity Stamps across the bottom of the pages.
The finished page. I stamped the fence crooked across the bottom and I added some spiders to the webs. I also inked all around the layout with black ink.
I stamped the circle face last and added some red marker around the mouth. It's fun to make holiday themed art journal pages. I hope you enjoyed my tutorial. Thanks for watching!! xxDaniella
