Add a good whopping amount of greens to your blender jar. The amount will reduce with blending so be generous.

Add some liquid. I chose pineapple juice today. Try coconut water instead or some other type of liquid. Water is also acceptable, but may cause separation later on.

Pulse and blend for a little bit to just break up the greens a little. Don't worry about getting it smooth, we just want to make some room for the other ingredients.

Add a banana to thicken it up. I like mine thick, so I used the whole thing. You may want to do half, or a quarter, or maybe you don't like banana so you'll skip it. There's no wrong here.

Instead of ice, add some frozen fruit. I chose mango. Sometimes I choose mixed berries but it's always better to drink a cold smoothie and ice can water it down too much and cause separation later on.
