Place Ivory Album Tag on Scoring tool and score at 2.25" and again at 3".
Crease score lines to form a pocket with a 3/4" base.
Use the tag as a template and trace around the front and back of Envision Expo 12x12 paper. Ink all the edges. Use a 1/2" hole punch at the top of each tag.
Score each piece at 2.25" and 3", just as you did for the ivory tag. Crease to form pockets. Ink all edges with Vintage Photo Ink. Use a gel medium to glue onto the the ivory tag base.
Use a bone folder to seal the papers to the ivory tag base, especially along the crease lines. Then fold along the scored lines to create this pocket shape.
Cut 2 strips of Mind Over Matter paper to measure 2" wide x 3" tall. Score at 1/4" intervals and accordion pleat. Ink all edges. These will allow you to create an accordion pocket on your tag base.
Use adhesive to add the accordion pleats to each side of the pocket as seen in this photo.
Fussy cut elements from the 8x8 pad to use as decorations on your pocket. Ink all edges with Vintage Photo DI.
Begin building layers with these pieces, gluing directly to the pocket base. Leave the tickets unglued as seen in the photo.
Continue layering elements using foam tape to add dimension. Continue to leave the tickets unglued.
Use hot glue to secure Teal Vintage Velvet lilacs behind the tickets, then glue the tickets onto the base.
Tap wild roses with ink and add to the pocket base. Ink the edges of the small World's Fair chipboard and tuck into arrangement. Add fussy cut hot air balloon to the top of the tag.
Here's a close up of the layering on the pocket. Inking the edges of each element and then using foam dimensionals creates a great feeling of depth and helps to avoid visual confusion.
Select a 3" x 4" ephemera card & ink the edges. Cut the "Be Brave" border from the 12x12 paper pad. Cut to size, add fishtail & secure with grommets. Place over a pocket sized packet of tissues.
Add Petaloo Star clusters to the top of the burlap string bow and tuck into the prepared pocket.
Shape fussy cut balloons with your fingers to add roundness and dimension and then glue onto the honey spoon using foam dimensionals.
Glue hot air balloons and chipboard to the top of the honey spoon. Tie with burlap string and insert into pocket.
Thread ribbon through the top of the tag. Tuck a wrapped tea bag along with all the other elements into the Get Well Pocket & it's ready to lift the spirits of a friend who's under the weather.
I hope you'll have fun making this little pocket. It can easily be adapted for any theme or occasion. Thanks for viewing!
