Spray mist two of the backgrounds in blue . Allow to dry.

Stain two 1 3/4 inch square pieces of burlap blue. Fray edges if desired. Allow to dry.

The stamp technique is heat embossing. Stamp images with embossing ink on coloured card stock. Apply powder, any red or blue. Shake excess off. Heat to melt powder to form images. Then fussy cut.

Cut 4 card stock rectangles (2 blue and 2 red) measuring 3 1/2 x 3 inches. Corner chomp or round all corners.

Begin adhering layers in the correct order. Start with card stock then distressed rectangles and then adhere textured die cut shapes. Be sure to use strong tape or wet glue

Finally adhere the burlap layers and the position the stamped images as desired. I find wet glue is best for these two layers.

Cut pattern paper at 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 square ( 12 x 12 inch sheet used ). Adhere centrally to the card stock covered chip board.

Add ideaology corners to all corners . Bend flaps over and hammer flat on reverse to secure in to position

Adhere the 4 layered units on to the covered chipboard base as pictured. Ensure they are equidistant and central. Use strong tape or wet glue.

Make up the compass unit as shown and anchor in the centre of the wall hanging. Position the clock hands in a cross formation.
