How to make a glasses case

Cut a square out of the fabric you want to use with some scissors or fabric scissors.

Thread your needle with the thread.

When their done they should look like this☝️

Using the sewing machine sew up the sides of the case that you tacked. Start at the begging with a back stitch and end with back stitch. Do this on both bits of material.

Chop off the corners of the case. This is because it reduces the bulk when turned the right way out and it looks better. Do his on both bits of material.

Fold each side over on opposite sides and press with the iron. Do this on both bits of material.

Fold the unstitched seam allowances. This photo shows two seams completed. Complete the other two sides as before. Do this on both bits of material.

Tack the edge you have just sewn and fold down. Do this on both pieces of material. (Use a needle and thread, not the sewing machine.)

On the sewing machine, sew the tacked edges of the material separately. Do this on both pieces of material.

Turn one the right way and leave the other one the wrong way.

Put the one that is the wrong way inside on the one that is the right way. This makes the lining of the case. If you do this, your glasses will be safer and less likely to crack or get damaged

Sew the lining and outer case together by hand. Leave the top part open as we will turn it down later.

Thread the elastic or ribbon through the open holes after sewing down the edges, tie a knot and hide it in the material. Enjoy you glasses case!😀
