How to make a glass elevator in minecraft pe

Here is my building. Yours may look completely different but I just quickly made it for this guide

Place glass is a U shape

Layer the glass Ll the way to the top

Ta-Daa!

Place ladders all the way to the top

Make a space for the door

Place your door

This is the top

I am adding another layer of glass for safety's sake
