STEPS
TOOLS
Brush out hair until there are little to no knots.
Separate the front group of hair about 2 or 3 inches wide and 1 centimeter thick
Split the front group into three parts. LEFT MIDDLE RIGHT
Take all the hair that is lined up with the RIGHT STRAND and add it to the RIGHT STRAND.
Take all the hair that is lined up with the LEFT STRAND and add it to the LEFT STRAND.
Take the RIGHT STRAND and place it over the MIDDLE and under the LEFT STRAND.
Make sure to pull each strand tight.
On the RIGHT side take the next row of hair 1 cm thick and add it to the NEW RIGHT STRAND
On the LEFT side take the next row of hair 1 cm thick and add it to the NEW LEFT STRAND
Take the RIGHT STRAND and place it over the MIDDLE and under the LEFT STRAND.
Make sure to pull each strand tight.
Continue this process until you run out of hair to add.
Just like step 10 and step 6, take the RIGHT STRAND and place it over the MIDDLE STRAND and under the LEFT STRAND. You do not need to add any hair because there is none left.
Continue step 13 until you have about an inch left of unbraided hair.
Wrap your ponytail holder around the end of the braid.
Now, using how ever many pins you need, clip up the extra hair.
Hopefully your French braid looks something like this.
- 1.0 Brush
- 1.0 Ponytail Holder
- Hair Pins (if needed)
