Make a Flip Lid on the New Chemex Filters Box

STEPS
TOOLS
Gather the supplies and find a good space to work.
Use the glue stick to glue the top to the side flaps AND the front lip. Be careful not to get the glue on the filters.
Turn box upside down to use the weight of the filters to get a good set. Wait until glue dries.
Measure 5 1/2 inches from the top corner to the front. Do this for both sides.
Connect the ends of the lines on the sides with a straight line across the front. As a guide, this line will be 3 1/2 inches from the top.
Use the knife to cut the corners. This is the toughest part of the cardboard and scissors just might not "cut it." Haha.
Stick the scissors in the hole you made and cut along your lines. You can use the blade, but I found it easier to keep from cutting the filters inside by using scissors.
Cut both sides along the lines you made.
If you glued it right, you should have the old-style box! Enjoy!
