Start with medium or long hair

Secure it in a high pony

Divide it into 2 parts

Take a small part from one side...

And bring it over to the other side

Repeat on the other side. It's basically a fishtail! Go on till you reach the end

Tip: to make the fishtail more prominent, twist each part before taking it over to the other side

Halfway...

Done!

Now slightly twist the fishtail (Like you would when make a bun) and wrap it around the base of the pony tail.
