It is always best to use fresh curly willow

Cut your willow into several pieces. One branch can make several armatures.

Use green stem wrap and wrap a 28 gage wire

Bend a branch of the willow into a figure 8

Keep adding willow , holding the center with your thumb.

Loop the tape covered wire through your fingers and around willow and Tighten the wire around the willow

Cut off the excess wire

Now place the armiture on top of your vase

Bend a branch like a hair pin

This will help keep the armiture in place

You can add greenery before or after or omit it altogether
