Use a piece of card stock to stencil out a triangle for a sail. Make sure the base of the triangle is the same length of driftwood.

Add three grommets to each corner of the sail

Drill a small hole into the base of your driftwood.

Glue dowel into hole with hot glue , hold in place until standing upright

Lay the sail flat over the dowel . Use twine to attach the top of the sail by making a knot with twine and wrap the remaining twine around the top of the dowel. Secure with glue

Using a separate piece of twine , lace the knot through the bottom right hand corner hole. Make a knot and loop the remaining twine around the driftwood, secure with a knot and glue.

Add twine to the to of sail do that you can hang on your tree

  • Small piece or white fabric
  • 6 to 9 inch piece of driftwood
  • 3 grommets ( optional)
  • Twine
