How to make a diy room decor lantern

You are going to need a mason jar. I am using two because I am making two lanterns.

Take a piece of paper and draw a shape on it. This shape will be the shape on your mason jar. The only part without paint. I chose to draw a heart and a circle.

Cut the shapes on the paper out.

Tape or glue down the shapes to the mason jar. I recommend using tape because glue is harder to come off. If you choose to use glue, only glue the edges of the paper.

Lay down some paper. I recommend doing this outside so that the paint doesn't get on anything important. Magazine pages, newspaper, or printer paper can work perfectly. Lay the glasses on the paper.

Now, paint over the shape, all over the glass. Spray paint or regular paint can work. I am using silver spray paint.
