Select a t-shirt you are willing to cut up! I chose this men's large Beastie Boys shirt because it is too big.

If you want thinner straps or a lower neck then keep trimming!

Cut a V down the back of you tee.

Cut the bottom on a diagonal for a high-low tank top.

Using the excess fabric from the bottom of your shirt, gather the straps and tie a knot.

Wind the fabric around the gathered straps to your desired length then double back and finish where you started so this is reinforced. Tie another knot and trim loose ends.
