How to make a diy newspaper basket

You need sheets of paper 12 centimeters long 5 centimeters wide

Fold a sheet in half hot dog style.

Fold it hot dog style again

Fold it inhalf hamburger style.

Unfold the the last fold and you will fold in both ends to the middle.

Fold the ends together sort of like a v. Take two of the " v's" that you've made.

You'll slide one of them through the slits of the second "v"

You want to keep doing that till you get the length you want. I went all the way up to 38 "v's"

You want to add glue to one end of the long strip and attach the other end to it.

More strips will need to be made for the third layer.

The best method I had to attach all three levels was to staple them. I would have use hot glue if I had some. I had a method of weaving more paper through the basket but it wasn't holding together.

I cut out a paper plate and stapled it to the bottom.

I began to paint mine purple.
